I stayed at Ostello Bello, with my service dog Oscar, for a week back in December 2022. I can't say enough good things—I still think about it. The staff was super nice, helpful, and made my pup and I feel at home (unlike a lot of other places we stayed).
OB has great food and drinks at the hostel, and is super close to the Colosseum and walking distance to plenty of other things. It's located in a very peaceful neighborhood. The rooftop patio and kitchen area is amazing. The rooms were clean and cozy. 10/10 highly recommend!

As a solo girl traveling it was an amazing experience! I felt safe! I’m 36 years old and since six years ago, I haven’t stay at hostel and my experience is as fantastic here!!

Hostel was in a good location. Had all the facilities you could ask from a hostel. Very clean and easy to socialize. Staff was super friendly, good views from the rooftop
This hostel was recommended to us by a friend, and I must say all expectations were exceeded! From the lovely location to the friendly staff and fun activities that are being organized. We had a lovely stay and recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Rome :)
Can't beat the location. Not much of an atmosphere. Room looked clean but we came across maybe 5 cockroaches in our 4 day stay. The water in the toilet kept running after flushing it which was rather annoying. The staff was not as helpful as I'd come to expect from other hostels. It seemed like every question we asked was a major inconvenience to them.
I was hesitant to try a hostel, but this was the perfect place to enjoy Rome, especially as a solo traveler. I was excited I was there on a Monday so I could enjoy the family dinner, but I’m kicking myself for not joining in on the preparation. I want to go back to experience the other activities. The room was small and not super quiet, but it met all my needs and felt safe which I believe are the most important. I love how modern the technology was and not worrying about a key was brilliant. The staff was lovely and the building was very clean and well maintained.
Really great place to stay. The staff is super welcoming and kind. They truly care about you having a good stay. Always there when you need them. The family dinner is such a great way to meet other people and feel welcomed. One of the best hostels I have stayed in.
Great location not too far from the metro, Colosseum, and vintage clothing stores. Shared my room with some nice kids. I strayed over the weekend, and nothing seemed too rowdy. They have an excellent bar and really cool staff. The hostel does put on activities if there is interest, but it seems like it depends on the attitude of the people in the hostel for the week. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and safe. Good luggage storage, laundry facilities and a lovely rooftop terrace. Their kitchen might be the best part of the whole place. I had a great time, and will return!
